After getting a postgraduate diploma in Biology, Luc Jacquet discovered his two great passions: image and scientific mediation. His first feature film, March of the Penguins, brings together more than 25 million viewers worldwide. He is crowned with numerous awards, including the prestigious Academy Award for Best Documentary Film in 2006. In 2010, he founded the association Wild-Touch with the desire to act for the preservation of nature through the emotion of image and cinema. After HE WAS A FOREST in 2013, Luc Jacquet continued his cinematographic adventure alongside emeritus glaciologist Claude Lorius by directing a new feature film LA GLACE ET LE CIEL, released on screens in autumn 2015. This project is accompanied by '' an ambitious transmedia program, supported by the association, around the major theme of climate change. Today, Luc Jacquet is 50 years old and loves the idea that the world is changing. The blockchain is for him a real revelation, the revolution that was missing so that artists, authors and creators can reappropriate free creativity, free from all influence and revitalized by the removal of intermediaries.
